Creating an open plan student breakout and events area

The University had an unused segregated space which they wanted to transform into an open plan student breakout and events area. The design and fit out of The Pump House included a major strip out of internal structural walls, new M&E design, controlled feature lighting installation with bespoke joinery, fittings with catering equipment.

New bi-fold curtain walling and landscape seating area to the patio area were included in the scheme to create a bright indoor-outdoor multi use function space and student union facility. With a tight programme we worked alongside the client agents to deliver the project on time and on budget.

To create a modern and energetic space for the students to use as an area to collaborate and come together.
